Policies

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. To ensure the quality of our services, our cancellation policies are dutifully implemented.

Advance Reservations
Highly recommended. We generally sell out top rooms weeks in advance. As each room is unique, we recommend you pick your favorite and reserve as early as possible. Reservations may be made either by calling the Inn at 800-995-7275 or 916-658-1818 or by clicking on “check availability.”

Deposits

A deposit equaling the first night room charge and tax will be charged upon booking. Packages will be charged a 50% deposit upon booking. We required 7 days notice to cancel a reservation which will result in a refund of the deposit, less a $35 processing fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will forfeit the deposit amount. Additional terms apply to group bookings of three or more rooms: Please call for details.

Spa appointments require 24 hours notice in order to cancel and receive a refund.

Late Check In
We can easily handle after hours check-ins, however a $500 hold will be placed on your credit card as a damage security. The hold will be released upon room cleaning the following day.

Payment
We accept all major credit cards, and accept prepayment by check or cash.

Check-in Time
3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. We can accommodate late arrivals. Please contact us if you will be arriving after 7 and we will arrange for a late check in.

Check-out Time
11:00 AM daily. As we are a boutique property, we also have a “boutique sized” housekeeping staff. 12:00PM check outs can be accomodated for an additional fee of $25.

Phone Availability
Concierge staff  is available 7 days a week by phone from 8:30 AM until 9:00 PM. For overnight guests, a manager is available by phone for emergencies after hours.

Cancellations
We require Seven days notice to cancel a reservation.   A $35 fee will be charged for all cancellations.  Because we are a boutique property, it is very difficult to re-book our rooms for last minute cancellations. If you cancel with less than 7 day notice , payment in full is required. Emergency situations will be handled on a case by case basis.

Children
The Inn & Spa at Parkside is an adult environment with most of our guests visiting us for a romantic getaway or corporate travel. Mature children are welcome, however, we must maintain a quiet, serene and welcoming ambiance for our guests.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the inn property – we are directly across a huge park so no excuses! A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to any guest that smokes in a room or whose room smells of smoke, as determined by staff.  Please take this seriously so we don’t have to – Thanks!
