To maintain this tranquil environment, we ask that you are respectful of others' privacy, speak softly, and deactivate any disruptive communication devices, such as cell phones or pagers. Warning: Spa Robes AheadSpa Bloom and the Inn and Spa at Parkside are robe-friendly zones. We will provide you with a robe and slippers to wear while visiting our spa facility. We suggest you bring comfortable easy-to-change clothing. You will be given a spa sack in which to store your clothes and personal belongings. We suggest you leave valuables at home or in your guest room. Your provider will be happy to check your belongings into the office or you can keep them with you. We are not responsible for lost items. Professional DrapingDuring your treatment, it is recommended that you experience body services without clothing. Our therapists are professionally trained and will ensure a level of comfort by appropriately draping areas of the body that are not a focus of the treatment. We require that swimming attire be worn in all spa facilities. Treatment SelectionA full menu of treatment offerings is listed on the Spa Bloom Website. If you would like assistance in choosing a service, please call the spa and speak to one of our knowledgeable Spa Hosts. A discussion with the Spa Host can often help you decide between specific types of treatment offerings -- depending on whether your goal is simply relaxation or more therapeutic in nature. Special Health ConsiderationsIf you have health concerns or are pregnant, please be sure to notify our spa staff when booking your treatment. Our reservationists can offer guidance as to which treatments will be the most beneficial and those that should be avoided due to physical limitations or sensitivity. AlcoholConsumption of alcohol prior to spa services is not recommended. ShavingShaving is not recommended prior to any treatments or hair removal services. However, it is recommended that men shave prior to a facial treatment at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Personal PreferencesWhether it is the room temperature or the level of massage pressure, please communicate your preferences with the therapist so that he or she can make your treatment a special experience. Therapist GenderSpa Bloom provides massage for the purposes of relaxation and pampering in a non-sexual atmosphere. Please feel free to request either a male or female therapist for your treatment and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, please note that due to our intimate size and limited number of of service providers, Spa Bloom cannot guarantee the gender request. In the case of couples treatments, it is likely that there will be one male and one female therapist assigned to the treatment. Age MinimumGuests must be at least 18 years of age to experience a spa treatment. FeedbackIf your experience at our spa facility has not met your expectations, we request that you speak with the spa director or manager on duty before leaving the facility. If unavailable, please feel free to call the spa to discuss the issue at a later date. Spa PoliciesSpa ReservationsTo make an appointment you can call our Spa Host at 916-658-1818. A major credit card is required to hold your reservation. We suggest making appointments in advance; however, please feel free to call us at the last minute and we will try our best to accommodate you. Please notify the Spa Host of any medical conditions or special needs that may affect your treatment. Phone AvailabilityInnkeeper is available by phone from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM. CancellationDue to our intimate size, cancellations significantly affect the quality of services we provide. Our cancellation policies are consistently adhered to. If you need to cancel a reservation or reschedule one, we require 24 hours notice for individual appointments and 48 hours notice for couples and packages. Spa Parties require two weeks notice to cancel. Canceling or changing appointments for inn guest and inn-room treatments requires 72 hours notice. Appointments canceled in less than the required time will be billed 75% of the published cost of each service. Guest room cancellations follow the Inn and Spa at Parkside's cancellation policy. If an appointment is scheduled with a gift certificate the same cancellation policy applies. ArrivalsPlease arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled reservation. Late arrivals shorten the duration of the service. This allows time for a leisurely check-in, a change of clothes, and a few moments to relax into the experience that awaits you. To keep the serenity of the spa, we ask that you turn off your cellular phone upon arrival. Please present all Gift Certificates and promotional coupons at check-in. Refunds, Gift Certificates, Series, and ProductsGift Certificates, Corporate Reward Cards, and Series Purchases are non-refundable. Products or accessories can be returned for replacement or spa credit when accompanied by a receipt within 30 days. For gift certificates, please remember that your guest may feel uncomfortable leaving a gratuity for a gift. It is common to include gratuity within the gift but not mandatory. Gratuity and Service ChargesIt is common to leave a gratuity for service providers. It is not necessary but is greatly appreciated. May we suggest 15% to 20%. All spa parties will have an automatic gratuity of 18% added. |
